The 34 km stretch that leads to Longleng from Changtongya is a perfect rural road for adventurous motorists.  Using an SUV or a two wheel cruiser, the driver can experience a rural dirt track, while driving through villages and interacting with the villagers.  The open markets are almost frozen in time, the barter system still prevalent. The Phom Nagas, who are the majority of this district, preserve their ancient culture through their festivals and artefacts like the log drums – the festival of Monyü is celebrated with full splendour here.
